Communication is that complex by which we exchange our thoughts, feelings, various facts and points of view with others. A large part of the day is spent doing it. Human beings complete all social and other activities through communication. The Latin meaning of communication is to be a participant in communication, one sends a communication and another person receives it. There is one sender and one receiver, it is a dynamic process. In this the participant and the environment also change completely.
It is a communication process. Through this we exchange our thoughts, feelings and attitudes etc. This is a very important action. Without which our existence is not possible. It is used by humans and all living beings found on earth. The use of communication is a social necessity, man lives in society, lives in an organization, lives in groups and performs various activities and achieves success and failure in his work. For all this, communication is not a necessity but a necessity.
Communication which is derived from the Latin word communes which means to share or to be a participant. Therefore, information is exchanged through communication so that mutual agreement and mutual understanding arise between them.
Different scholars have defined communication in different ways:-
- According to Keith Davis, “by means of communication one person transmits a message to another person. ‘
- According to G. Meier, “communication is the process by which a person communicates his thoughts and ideas. Opinions pass on to others.
- According to Louis A. Allen, “Communication is made possible by all those means, facts and actions by which one person adopts his ideology to infuse or convince another person. “
- According to Belloch and Gilson , “It is the sharing of meaning and understanding, in which words, letters, symbols are used.”
Therefore, on the basis of the above definition, it is concluded that it is the process that takes place between two persons in which one person conveys his thoughts, feelings, Makes sense of mind, opinion, opinion etc. and also makes them exchange all these.
- There are two routes of communication. One sends information through various actions and the other understands it. If the understanding of information is stopped, communication becomes difficult.
- Communication is a continuous process. When communication is absent everyone can slow down or stop.
- Communication is an objective process and the purpose of communication is fulfilled if both the sender and the receiver can understand the communication.

- Sender: The sender initiates the communication with some purpose and the sender has the main role. Sender The sender sends the content. The sending material must be clear otherwise it creates doubts.
- Consignee: The second part of communication is the sender who receives the message. The meaning of the message shall be the same as understood by the sender. Therefore it is necessary that the communication should be done keeping the sender in mind. The sender is the only person who hears, reads and sees the message.
- Message: The message is transmitted to the sender in many ways like by writing by words, by sound (by speaking), by signs etc. The message needs to be clear and understandable. For a message it is necessary that its meaning is the same for both the sender and the sender.
